Who we are

We are a company dedicated to sharing evidence-informed ideas that inspire, empower and challenge individuals and organizations to redefine health, wellness and performance. Central to our approach is a belief that exercise can be used to facilitate positive changes in behaviour when an emphasis is placed on understanding why and how we exercise.

We design and implement short- and long-term education, coaching and exercise solutions to address the health, wellness, performance and injury prevention needs of individuals and organizations across the globe. Some of our projects and partners have included the Fit to Thrive program, an initiative launched by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) to accommodate the wellness and fitness needs of more than 340,000 firefighters across North America, and the IAFF-IAFC Joint Wellness-Fitness Initiative, a comprehensive wellness program that emphasizes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for fire fighters across North America.

Our Philosophy

Fundamental to our philosophy is the notion that every individual, regardless of age, ability, or ambition needs the capacity to meet the demands of their life. We believe that exercise can be one of the most powerful tools to make this happen.

  • Exercise can be used to manage, rehabilitate and prevent injury and disease.
  • Exercise can be used to make many of life’s activities safer, easier and more enjoyable.
  • Exercise can be used to improve the quality of our lives by inspiring positive attitudes, ingraining healthy behaviors, and making the impossible, possible.

But, we also believe that all of this is only possible if an emphasis is placed on why we exercise (our motivation), how we exercise (our movement patterns), and the development of relevant, simple, and evidence-informed solutions that can change behaviour (what we do for exercise).
